Where are drink dispensers most used?
In the food and beverage industry, drink dispensers are essential equipment in self-service areas such as buffet stations or fast-food restaurants. They allow customers to easily refill their drinks, reducing the need for staff assistance and improving customer satisfaction. Drink dispensers can also be customised to fit specific needs, such as offering options for carbonated or non-carbonated beverages and different flavours.
Drink dispensers are also widely used in the hospitality industry such as hotels and resorts. They provide guests with convenient access to refreshments, whether in their rooms or common areas such as the poolside or lobby. This enhances the overall guest experience and reduces costs for hotels by eliminating the need for individual bottles or cans of drinks.
Bars and pubs can also use cocktail dispensers for serving large quantities of cocktails and mixes. By making cocktails in large batches and storing them in bar drink dispensers, staff can serve more customers quickly and efficiently.
What should you look for when purchasing a drink dispenser?
Restaurants should always be on the lookout for efficient and reliable drink dispensers. This ensures customer satisfaction and helps to streamline the operations of the establishment.
Specific needs
It's important to consider the needs of your restaurant. Different types of businesses have different requirements for their beverage service. For example, a fast-food restaurant may need a high-capacity dispenser that can handle large volumes of drinks quickly, while a fine dining establishment may prioritise style and opt for a more visually appealing dispenser.
Type of beverage
Another important factor to consider is the type of beverages being served. Some cold drink dispensers are designed specifically for carbonated drinks, while others may be better suited for juices or other non-carbonated options. It's important to choose a dispenser that is suitable for the types of beverages your restaurant offers.
Maintenance and cleaning
In addition to functionality, restaurants should also consider the maintenance and cleaning requirements of a drink dispenser. A well-maintained dispenser will not only ensure the quality of beverages but also prolong its lifespan. Look for models that are easy to clean and have features such as removable parts for thorough cleaning and sanitising.
What are the benefits of using a drink dispenser?
Drink dispensers are designed to streamline the process of serving beverages and offer many benefits for restaurants.
Time-saving
One of the main advantages of using a drink dispenser is that it saves you time. Staff spend lots of time filling individual glasses or bottles with drinks. With a cool drink dispenser, you can serve multiple beverages at once, significantly reducing the amount of time it takes to serve customers. Drink dispensers also have a high capacity and can hold large quantities of drinks, which means less frequent refilling. This is especially useful during peak hours when your restaurant is busy and your staff is in high demand.
Cost-efficient
Drink dispensers are cost-efficient. They can hold large quantities of drinks, which reduces the need to constantly restock beverages. This means you can purchase drinks in bulk, saving money on individual bottles or cans.
Variety
Many drink dispensers can hold more than one type of beverage, giving customers a wider variety of options to choose from. This can be especially beneficial for restaurants that cater to a diverse customer base with varying preferences.
What different drink dispensers does Maxima offer?
Maxima offers two different types of drink dispensers:
Ice-cooled drinks dispenser:
This stylish appliance is easy to disassemble. The transparent container keeps the drink cool and you can add ice to the stainless steel tube in the center for extra cooling. It comes in single (8L), double (2 x 8L) or triple (3 x 8L) versions, allowing you to serve up to three different flavours. An advantage of this appliance is that it doesn’t need electricity.
Liquid-cooled drinks dispenser:
This quick-cooling drink dispenser maintains cool temperatures thanks to its efficient cooling system with automatic temperature control. The silent cooling system uses coolant to keep the drinks at a temperature ranging from 7 to 12°C.
You can also use a stirring element to keep the contents of the tank moving. These drink dispensers are available in single (18L), double (2 x 18L) or triple (3 x 18L) versions. Operating this model with one hand is possible by pressing your glass or cup against the handle.
How to clean a drink dispenser
If your drink dispenser uses electricity, first switch it off and unplug it from the wall socket. Then loosen and remove any detachable parts from the machine. These parts are best cleaned by hand using warm water and a mild detergent.
Alternatively, the drink containers can be filled with hot water and emptied using the tap handle, effectively flushing the entire dispenser system at once. Ensure that all components are thoroughly dried before reassembling the dispenser.
