Breakfasts and brunches are never complete without the classic toast. Whether you prefer a beautiful, retro-designed toaster, or an American-style conveyer toaster that’s ideal for high capacity, with the professional toasters from Maxima, you can put the perfect slice of toast on the table in no time.

What should you look for when buying a toaster?

Toasters are already designed to be easy-to-use devices, so the main thing to look out for is what capacity is has and what capacity you will need in your catering establishment. How often are you going to use it and how many slices of toast will you need per hour?

Maxima has two different kinds of toasters in its range: one with the familiar shape that has a number of open slots on top, and a conveyer toaster. The slotted toaster has a stainless steel casing and a very attractive retro design. It is available for a capacity of four or six slices of bread. The most useful thing about these toasters is that you can heat the chambers in pairs, either two, four or six. Thanks to the convenient tray underneath, all crumbs are collected neatly, helping keep counters clean and hygienic.

Our second model is called a conveyor toaster, which owes its name to the 'conveyor belt' on which the slices of bread move through the appliance before exiting at the bottom when they are done toasting. These conveyor models have a typical American style design and are ideal for a high capacity of 150, 300 or even 450 slices of bread per hour. It is also good to know that you can toast buns and pistolets in them.

Both types of toasters have a temperature indicator light, a control knob for the time or speed, and stand firmly on rubber feet.

What are the key features of Maxima toasters?

The toasters from Maxima have a lot in common. They are equipped with simple controls so you can always put the perfect toasted bread and buns on the table quickly and easily. Some other features of Maxima toasters are:

  • crumb tray

Is a toaster suitable for my catering business?

Bread is eaten everywhere. Two classic forms are, of course, the classic sandwich or the simple but familiar toast for breakfast. You will find these in almost every restaurant with a breakfast or lunch menu. Since toast or even a sandwich on toasted bread can be eaten at any time of the day, you will come across a toaster in the most diverse catering establishments, such as:

  • gyms
  • cafes
  • hotels
  • restaurants
  • beach pavilions
  • company and sports canteens
  • catering and self-service restaurants

How do I clean a toaster?

Our toasters and sandwich makers are also made to be cleaned quickly. Thanks to the crumb tray, your table or work surface stay nice and clean. This crumb tray is easy to remove in both the conveyer and standard toaster.

Although the stainless steel housing will not get dirty easily, you can wipe it down with a soft cloth if necessary. If needed, use warm water with a mild detergent and dry with a soft dry cloth.
