There are countless recipes in the world that use chocolate as a key ingredient. However, in order to use chocolate in a dish, it often needs to be melted first. With a chocolate sauce warmer, this is an easy task to do. It can also be used as a chocolate melted. Because it has been made according to the Gastronorm measurements, you can also use it for more than one product at a time. The chocolate melters are available in sizes from 2 x 1/3 GN up to 6 x 1/6 GN if you want to melt or warm up several portions at once.

How does a chocolate sauce warmer work?

The chocolate sauce warmer works very much like a bain marie. You start by filling the water tank and then place the GN containers with the food item inside. Turn on the appliance and set the desired temperature. Wait until the indicator light shows that the right temperature has been reached. Your sauce is now ready to be served. The appliance maintains a constant temperature, which is important in preventing the chocolate or sauce from burning or cooking further. Are the contents a little too hot or too cold? Simply adjust the temperature via the easy-to-use display. The appliance has both a water outlet and steam outlet tap so you don't come into direct contact with hot water or hot steam.

This 'tempering' or pre-crystallisation ensures that crystals are formed that give the chocolate back its firmness. How do you clean a chocolate sauce warmer?

You can leave any leftover sauce or chocolate in the GN containers. The easiest way to clean them is to not let them cool down completely.
