Together we are Maxima

Maxima started in 1975 as hospitality wholesaler Spangenberg. In 2009, we introduced our own brand. This allowed us to meet the demand for high-quality products at a fair price. Since then, our kitchen equipment has been used in more and more professional kitchens. Chefs enjoy working with it. Together, we create a smile for our customers.

Giving Back

Earning money is important to us. It allows us to give something back to our colleagues and society. Every year, we donate part of our profits to charities. For example, an ambulance fully funded by Maxima is operating in Ukraine. In Kenya, we support a rhino in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy: Kifaru Maxima. Our contribution helps cover its living costs. Giving back is part of everything we do. We do this in a modest way, contributing structurally to a better world.

Most roles are full-time, but part-time is open for discussion in some cases. We are happy to explore the options together.

We work with clear salary scales. You start at a level that matches your experience, with opportunities to grow in both role and salary.

This depends on the role. For some positions, Dutch is important, while for others (international roles), English is sufficient.

Our office and showroom are located in Mijdrecht. For many roles, regular presence is important, but hybrid working is often possible.
